New MX Site DevMX is a new site focusing on all things MX. You'll find tutorials, forums, articles, and a Tip of the Day section, among other things. There isn't a lot of content on the site right now, and some areas of the site are still under construction, but it looks like they are off to a good start, and that the site could be a valuable resource for MX developers. BTW, I don't see a "Home" button anywhere; other than using the browser's "Back" button or editing the URL in the address bar, I can't see a way to get back to the Homepage...Everything New is Old Seems like one of the uses of new media is to repackage old media. To wit: Donkey Kong in Flash.

Some components have immediate and obvious uses, some allow you to easily achieve cool effects, and others...well, you have to use your imagination to think of a practical use for some of them. But hey, Flash isn't just a tool for creating practical applications, it's also a tool for creative and artistic expression. And who ever said art has to be practical?

New MACR Support Policy Beginning on 18 November, Macromedia's technical support policy for Tools products will change from unlimited support for 90 days to two free technical support incidents within 90 days of the first technical support contact. Their New Support Policy FAQ gives all the details.HTML Is Dead Well, it's not exactly dead yet, but I think it safe to say that it is ready for retirement. It has been pushed far beyond its original intention (serving text documents), and has been made to do things which no one would have thought possible ten years ago. So what's next? Enter XHTML 1.0: The Extensible HyperText Markup Language...
