Sorenson Squeezes Its Way Into Journalists' Middle East Arsenal What technologies are U.S. journalists using to send video footage of Middle East events back to the States? Flash Security Issue (part deux) On 7 March CNN published an article about a security threat in the Flash player. Though CNN does not go into great detail about the threat, it is worth noting that Macromedia considers this a "theoretical exploit, and extremely difficult to execute in practice." Although the folks at MACR are not aware of any known examples of code which has exploited this bug, they are nonetheless encouraging all users of the Flash plugin to upgrade to the latest version of the Flash player.
[Looks like I scooped CNN on this one, as this is the same security issue I mentioned in my 4 March Blog entry... :) ]
